20-Year-Old Killed In Irvington Shooting: Authorities (Updated)

A 20-year-old East Orange man was fatally shot in Irvington on early Monday morning, June 24, authorities said.

At 1:22 a.m., Irvington police responded to the 300 block of 21st Street and found Quashawn Moses suffering from gunshot wounds, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II and Irvington Public Safety Director Tracy Bowers said.

He was pronounced dead at 2:59 a.m., authorities said.

The Prossecutor's Homicide Task Force and Irvington Police Department are investigating, authorities said.
